My uncle has been working for almost 20 and retired on June 2008. In early this year, he had irregular heart rate and has been approve for Permanence Disability. Recently, he just receive a Full Medi-Cal benefit. He is 63 years old now and live in California.

Here are my questions:

1. Could he apply and get Money for Disability? and what form should he need to fill out if he is available
2. Can he apply for Food Stamp? His wife is still working with about 1000 on monthly income. What form should he need to fill out if he is available.

1. Monthly SSI payment amounts, independent living status (Disabled) $907.00 / month

2. People who get SSI in California cannot get food stamps because the state adds money to the federal SSI payment instead.
